All personnel are subject to comprehensive pre-employment screening, including verification of licences, certifications, medical fitness and safety training, ensuring they are prepared for high risk operational environments.
Health and safety accountability continues throughout the engagement. Optec conducts ongoing safety monitoring, site engagement and compliance reviews to ensure personnel and workplaces continue to meet HSE obligations. We work closely with clients to proactively identify and manage risk, support site specific safety frameworks and reinforce effective hazard management practices.

We equip, train and empower every worker to operate safely in high risk environments. This includes ongoing HSE guidance, PPE verification, access to support resources and attention to mental wellbeing, fostering a strong culture of care and accountability.
ASSESS
We assess workplaces, roles and risks before mobilisation to ensure safe systems of work and appropriate controls are in place. This includes site HSE reviews, role specific risk assessment, competency verification and alignment with client and regulatory requirements.
FOLLOW
We ensure safety expectations are followed consistently throughout the engagement. This includes compliance monitoring, adherence to site procedures, incident reporting, and continuous alignment with client HSE frameworks and legislative obligations.
ENGAGE
We actively engage with workers and clients to strengthen safety culture and proactively manage risk. Through regular communication, site visits and feedback loops, we encourage shared responsibility and continuous improvement in health, safety and environmental performance.
